Be wary of phone calls from individuals pretending to be an associate of First Commercial Bank. It’s important to remember: First Commercial Bank will never call, email or text you to ask for personal or account information or to reset your online banking password. This includes asking you for a one-time code sent via text message or email to verify your identity. If the passcode is shared with a scammer, it will compromise your account information and may lead to financial losses.

Scammers impersonating First Commercial Bank associates have contacted clients stating that fraudulent transactions have occurred on their account, and that the password needs to be reset. This is a scam. If someone calls you claiming to be from First Commercial Bank, hang up and call 1-866-860-0007 or contact an associate you know directly.

Keep these additional tips in mind to help keep your identity and accounts safe:

  • Never give out your personal, account, payment, or password information to someone who contacts you out of the blue and demands it. Hang up. It’s a scam.
  • Don’t trust Caller ID. Scammers can fake caller IDs so it shows a company’s name or phone number. And never call back a number from a recorded message or listed in an unexpected email or text.
